Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCOLLEEN BOORMAN
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen Boorman, the beloved wife of William Boorman.
Colleen was predeceased by her mother Debbie Penner and step-father Pete Penner.
Colleen and Bill were together for over 32 years until Colleen’s deteriorating health necessitated a move to Seven Oaks and finally to Deer Lodge Centre. They truly understood each other’s special needs and personalities so were able to lovingly care for each other. They also shared a deep understanding of their Faith in their Lord.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Bill sorry for you loss. I knew her mother Debbie first as we road on same bus when I was working at CFB Winnipeg in the 70s and Debbie was working at Grace Hospital. Then I was attending Pastor Eglers Lutheran church and I met Debbie and Colleen there as we always road on same city bus after service. Colleen came to my home in Regina once and then when I moved back to Winnipeg for second time in the 70s Colleen helped me find accommodation. I lost touch but tried to reach her several months ago by phoning your church to no avail. I would have liked to have had a chat with her but it did not work out. I visited Winnipeg for a week this past August. I would like to make a donation in her memory to my church in Regina but you would not be notified from my church as I do not know if you are at the same address as I previously had. May Colleen rest in peace until we meet again. Your friend in Christ Helen Kochanik. - Posted by: Helen Kochanik (long time friend) on: Dec 23, 2023

Our prayers are with Colleen's family. I enjoyed the many visits we had together sharing memories of my aunt Phyllis, reading the Bible and praying. It was always interesting to have discussions with Bill. Be assured of our prayers at this time. - Posted by: MARIETTA SEARGEANT (Pastoral Care) on: Dec 21, 2023
