BARBARA LOUISE LEONARD
Peacefully and gently, Barb passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. She is survived by her beloved daughter Louise (Leon), and brothers, Glen (Allison) and Gerry (Grace) and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Barb was predeceased by her parents, Phillip and Irene; brother Ricky; and her life partner Wayne.
Barb came to Winnipeg from Ontario and worked at the Misericordia General Hospital for many years until her daughter's arrival. She then later volunteered at Princess Margaret School and worked for Home Care Services.
After retirement, Barb enjoyed her puzzles, movies, cooking shows, computer games, trivia, wrestling and phone calls. Barb enjoyed her family and cats most of all!
Thanks to the exceptional staff at unit 5B St. Boniface Hospital. Barb wished for no funeral service. Donations may be made to Winnipeg Humane Society.
Ethical Death Care in charge of arrangements.
