Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARK SOPHER
At the age of 67 our dear husband, dad, grampa and great-grampa, Mark, peacefully and quietly passed on Saturday, January 20, 2024, with his family by his side.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 39 years, Colleen, sons, Barry (Aileen), Steven (Laurie), grandchildren, Sabrina, Angelica, James (Bea), Brandon (Shea) and great-grandchildren, Abby, BenBen and Wylder. Also, his sister-in-law Gloria (Lorne), brother-in-law Gordon (Laura), close friends, Emile and Thea Gervais, my x Bud Bud, and Stan Horch, who we would like to thank for the bedside prayers in the hospital, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Mark loved Colleen dearly and took good care of her. He was the most gentle and loving grampa and enjoyed a good practical joke or the ability to give a good scare.
The family would like to thank the staff on the 2nd floor at Concordia Hospital for taking such great care of Mark.
There will be no funeral service and interment will be held at a later date.

Condolences to you, Colleen, and family. I only knew Mark for a short time in Weslaco, Texas. He was so very friendly and so helpful when I needed help running shuffle tournaments. Heaven has now received the best of the best. Hugs - Posted by: Mariann Hiebert (Friend ) on: Feb 01, 2024
