With heavy hearts, the family of Lillian Alice Lockhart announces her passing, Sunday, January 21, 2024, in Winnipeg.
“Lil” was a strong, loving, and compassionate woman who was always younger than her years. She loved fashion, taking care of her home, and the Winnipeg Jets, but her main focus in life was always her family. She had a kind heart and would often help friends and family in need. She loved going to the grandchildren’s sporting events and was a regular fixture at the hockey rink.
Lil was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Clifford Lockhart and her infant grandson Daniel Edmondson. She is survived by her children: Barbara (Barry) Dueck, Beverley Edmondson and Scott (Deborah) Lockhart; grandchildren, Lindsey Fancy, Tiffany Dueck, Dustin Lockhart, Dana Edmondson, Connor Lockhart, and Mitchell Lockhart; and great-grandchildren. Madden, Cole, and Norah Fancy.
We were so touched by the care and compassion our Mother received at The Roseood and from the staff at St. Boniface Hospital.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Don’t cry because it is over.
