It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of our loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Roland Wilfred Joseph Fontaine was born in Pine Falls, Manitoba. Roland leaves behind his wonderful, loving wife, Olive Rita, of 63 years; and his legacy, children, Susanne (Al), Raymond (Linda), Alain (Alice) and Ginette (Frederick II); grandchildren, Cory, Jason (Vera), Sara (James), Ken (Tiffany), Nicole, Sebastien, Melanie, Christian (Samantha), Chantika (Connor) and Frederick lll; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Theodore, Vuk, Addison, Everleigh, Emily, Arwyn, Marqiess and lsha.
May his soul rest in peace. To all he loved, may the memories that remain provide his warmest light and comfort. From the Fontaine Family, Celebration of Life to be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 23, 2024 at St. Bernadette Church, 820 Cottonwood Road, Winnipeg, MB. R2J 1G1. Interment for family and close friends will be held directly after the church service at Glen Lawn MemoriaI Gardens and FuneraI Home, 445 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, Manitoba.
