ANNE ROGOSKI

(nee TOMKO)

March 24, 1929 - January 30, 2024, peacefully passed away at the Gimli Betel Home, at the age of 94.
Anne will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charles, parents Peter and Nettie Tomko, sisters Sally Tomko, Elsie Zelenitsky, Bertha Nedotiafko, Jean Wilk, Eileen Scott and brothers Laurie, Bill, Bert, Tommy, and Murray Anderson.
She is survived by her sons, Ronnie (Arlene), Garry (Evelyn) and Grant (Grace); her dearly loved grandchildren, Aaron (Sasha), Brian (Ann-Marie), Tammy (Andrew), Tyler (Payton) and Brittney; her great-grandchildren, Nicole, Bailey, Evan, Emma, Sydney, Kayleigh, Brookes, and Bridger.
On May 15, 1948, she married the love of her life, Charles Rogoski. They initially resided in Matlock before they decided to establish their home in Winnipeg Beach, MB in 1952.
Anne's dedication was truly commendable, she invested numerous years of hard work in the family business 'Dans Transfer' and later at Eddie's Café. Anne was also deeply involved in her community. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 61 Royal Canadian Legion, where she contributed to the success of numerous events but also formed enduring friendships that would last a lifetime.
Music brought Anne immense joy, especially polka music, which she adored dancing to with anyone that could keep up.
Anne's flair in the kitchen made a lasting impact earning her the reputation of being an amazing cook. Her home cooked meals were memorable and enjoyed by many. Mom was well known for her cabbage rolls that could not be replicated. Mom enjoyed her flowers, gardening and she especially loved growing tomatoes which she took pleasure in canning and sharing with her family.
Anne's greatest pride and joy were her 3 boys (Ronnie, Garry & Grant). It was evident that she cherished her sons and took great pride in their accomplishments. Her boundless love for her family was unmistakable.
She will be missed by all who knew her. A special thank you to the staff at the Gimli Betel home for making mom's final days so peaceful.
A graveside service will take place at the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. to be followed by a luncheon at the Winnipeg Beach Legion.

Mom you will be missed and never forgotten. Love you!
