It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Yvonne Durussel on January 31, 2024.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles Louis Durussel, and her eldest son Ted. Yvonne is survived by her sons, Gary (Maria), Jeffrey (Barbara), grandchildren, Rhiannon (Mike), Karl (Darlene), and great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Braeden.
The family would like to thank the staff of Beacon Hill Lodge for their patient care in her final days.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Im so sorry to have just now learned of Yvonne's passing, My aunt Yvonne was my mother’s Older sister, although they were separated as Children through an unfortunate Family situation. I had the pleasure of spending time with her as a child, surprising us with a Visit in Ontario, she shared many pictures & stories of her sons, she was a strong woman and I found her to be very funny, keeping us laughing. I had hoped to be able to connect one day to hear more of my grandparents. Family story that my Uncle Paul Therrien kept me updated on. Dear Gary, Jeff and families. It was with a heavy heart today that Maureen told me that your Mom had passed away. I have such fond memories of growing up together and how much I liked your Mom. Sincere condolences to Yvonne’s family in the loss of your Mother and Grandmother. I met Yvonne in 1963. In recent years we shared many breakfasts and lunches prior to the pandemic.
