It is with very heavy hearts, the family announces the sudden passing of Meghan on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the age of 38 years.
Her memories will be cherished by her three children: Anna, Alex and Zayden; her parents: Fred and Michele; siblings: Chris, Stacey and Marie; nieces and nephews; her partner Derrick and his parents: Jerry Stopckycki and Donna Simpson, his sister Crystal and brother-in- law Dave, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be lovingly remembered by her birth mother Rose Blanford, birth sister Kay Lindgren and her birth family as well as many friends and neighbours.
Meghan was a very caring and loving person. She always put her children first to ensure they had a wonderful life. She would help her neighbours with rides to appointments and shopping whenever she could. She was very compassionate and empathetic towards everyone and was beautiful inside and out. She had a contagious smile that was so big it could light up any room she was in.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Meghan’s life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall at West St. Paul Funeral Home and Crematorium, 92 Merit Rd., West St. Paul, MB
In lieu of flowers, donations in Meghan’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to www.gofundme.com/f/celebration-of-life-funds-for-our-family with the children’s on going living expenses.
