I am, also, so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I am Don and Norma Cann's other daughter. My parents had so many fun times, laughs and adventures with Jack and Jean. I'm sure your family will miss Jean deeply. She was a wonderful woman. Condolences to the whole family. - Posted by: Darlene Cann (friend) on: Feb 17, 2024

I was blessed by Jean's dedication to music at Lilyfield UC. She gamely played all my choices....even if they might not have been hers. She also arrived every Sunday with a thermos of coffee to make sure I had a good jolt of caffeine to get me going. From her I came to love the quiet beauty of Hillside Beach. The Oatway cottage was a place of retreat and renewal in the midst of a hectic life. Jean was a special woman whose wisdom and subtle humour I will treasure always. I will hold in my prayers Kent, Wayne, Karen and Marty, as well as their families. Sharon Wilson - Posted by: Sharon L Wilson (Former minister at Lilyfield UC) on: Feb 17, 2024

I am so sorry to hear about Jean's passing...My Mom and Dad (Norman and Don Cann) had so many wonderful times with Jack and Jean. Her name has come up from time to time when my sister and I talk and we were wondering how she was doing. May all the memories you have of her help you all in your grief. - Posted by: Sharon Mouritsen (acquaintence) on: Feb 17, 2024
