It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of John Harper at the age of 79.
There will be a Celebration of Life to honour John on Friday February 23, 2024, 6:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.

Dear Ruth & family, We are saddened to hear that John passed away. We have many fond memories of our time spent with both of you, especially on your trip to Vancouver to visit John’s mom. I first met John or Harp as I called him over 22 years ago playing backgammon online. What a friend he was. Taught me patiently how to play (and lose). Think I lost the first 100 games we played before I would occasionally win one. What a friend. He visited with my husband and I often over the years. Will miss this kind man. I send hugs to all his family on their loss. He often talked about them and sent pictures of his precious grandchildren. Rest in peace my friend.
