  • I am so sorry for your loss, Jen. I can't imagine how hard this is for you and the boys. I've often said that Liam and Tommy were among my favorite players to coach because they both work so hard and are genuinely great kids -- something they surely inherited from their Dad (an excellent player) and yourself. I remember first meeting Lance when our kids first played together on the Lightening -- in walks this big tall guy, maybe a bit intimidating, who was so personable and funny as soon he spoke. I'll miss joking in the dressing room and sharing beers and stories in the hotel at our kid's hockey tournaments. Stay strong. Annelise, Kaia, Merek, and I are thinking of you all. - Posted by: Michael Sigurdson (Hockey) on: Feb 29, 2024

  • Sorry to hear of your big loss. Lance was a friend whom i got to know through hockey. I first got to know Lance when I approach him to play hockey with the then Southeast T birds of the Manitoba junior hockey League. Lance or Beaker as we called him from then on was a great hockey/toughest player to ever play in the league. His approachable personality made him a friend to all who met him. He will be missed by all his friends. - Posted by: Albert Stevens (A friend) on: Feb 26, 2024
