Claudia passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Middlechurch Home where she lived for the last three years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Marie Jaresh and her sister Karen Jaresh.
Claudia grew up in East Kildonan, attended Miles Macdonell Collegiate and taught for the Winnipeg School Division. She volunteered for Folklorama and was a member of the Winnipeg Teachers Association Pension Committee. She enjoyed cruises with Karen and travel to Japan with her good friend Corrine. Claudia very much enjoyed the cards Corrine continued to send her although they were not able to get together in person.
A memorial will be held for Claudia in the spring.

Mrs. Jaresh taught my daughter in ?? Grade 6. Was an amazing teacher with such a realistic attitude and way of understanding. Met up with her again in Her position with Folklorama and enjoy a couple of great conversations. Sincere condolences to the family.
