I met Les playing cricket in Assiniboine park and did not like him very much as a cricketer because he was a nagging bowler who was difficult to get away. We however connected socially, especially when I found out that he was a Bajan posing as a Guyanese. He was a very respectful and respectable character. I was saddened to learn of his passing, as many were. To Dorrie and family, on behalf of myself and my wife, my sincerest condolences to you and family. Les will be missed by many, and I know that there will always be a void in your heart. May he rest in eternal peace. - Posted by: Victor Vaughan (Friend) on: Mar 08, 2024
