DOMIA DERKACH
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother and grandmother on the morning of February 28, 2024, Domia Derkach.
Domia was predeceased by her husband Carl in 2022. Left to survive are her sons Brian (Joyce), Earl (Allison), grandchildren Ben, Qatya, Katie and Holly, her siblings George, Olga, Jean (Steve), and Buddy (Sharon).
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Viewing will be held a half hour prior to the service. A private family interment will take place at a later date at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or charity of one’s choice. This spring plant an extra flower in memory of Domia.

Domia was a friend from the Transcona Garden Club for many years. She helped plant at the park with Carl and many of the Juniors. We will miss her expertise, her volunteering, the many meetings for the club and many, many ways to garden.
