It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Al Janzen at the age of 85 at the Carman Memorial Hospital, with family by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna of 37 years, daughter Deborah (Craig) Kitching, sons, Brian (Naomi) and Dale, and grandsons, Taylor (Raquel) Janzen, Mackenzie Kitching and Eli Kitching.
He is also survived by his sister Alma, stepsons, John and Brad, step-grandchildren, Justin (Emily), Heather (Pat), Jessica, Avery (Rav) and Ted (Chesley), and step-great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Madeline, Ethan, Edwin, Trace and Remi.
Al’s two greatest loves were his family and trucking. He always had great stories to tell about both. He enjoyed life to the fullest.
A special thank you to the all the nurses and staff of the Carman Memorial Hospital for their kindness and empathy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Starbuck Community Hall on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
