Danny passed away on January 18, 2024 after suffering from pneumonia and dementia. He was born in Winnipeg on December 6, 1942 to parents, Steve and Mabel. He married Sandra on July 4, 1964, and they had three children.
Danny is survived by Sandra, Kerry and Donna (Lauren, Lisa and Daniel), Chris and Flanna (Sam, Charlie and Max), and Colleen and Dave (Alex and Julie). He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Anita Warnar, Elva Corbin, and Emily Boyko (Mike); and nieces and nephews, Curtis Warnar (Amanda), Cara Warnar-Smith (Ryan), Tim Corbin, Jacqueline Corbin (Michael) and Maryann Boyko. Danny was predeceased by parents, Steve and Mabel, sister Cathy Swiderski (John), brothers, Gary Yackoboski and Steve Warnar (Rosemarie), in-laws, Alli and Lovisa Johnson, Allan Johnson and Bob Corbin.
He was an electrician and a member of IBEW Local 2085. In retirement, he enjoyed cribbage, reading, and travel.
A gathering will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the reception area of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Hwy. There is an elevator to the second floor.
