  • Our sincere condolences to the family. Just weeks before her passing, I had a lovely conversation with Adele, she asked about the family, was busy taking perogy orders for St. Nicholas Women’s League, read the epistle at mass, and still lighting up the room with her smile, wit & charm. Rest in Peace🙏🏼 - Posted by: Linda & Paul Bailes (Friend) on: Mar 28, 2024

  • So elegant and full of life, always the "Bell of the Ball". Our condolences to Chief Bruce and Family on the loss of Mom and Baba. - Posted by: Stephen Sumka (Friend ) on: Mar 23, 2024

  • In the summer of 2022, I was visiting my family in Winnipeg and enjoyed a sunny afternoon at my cousin Laura's place where I got to see and speak with my Aunt Adele for the last time. She was just as I remember her: warm, elegantly dressed, and truly interested in everyone's lives, how we were all doing. In particular, years ago when I was in high school, she attended my plays, and was always supportive of her family's endeavours. I also recall her wicked sense of humour and her zest for life! My heartfelt sympathies to Bruce and family, and Nance and family. - Posted by: Patti Melnyk (niece) on: Mar 18, 2024

  • My parents, Doris & Dave Riediger, were best friends with Adele & Peter. The 4 of them golfed together at Elmhurst, travelled together to Florida, spent time at their cottage, and enjoyed many, many dinners together. We felt so honored to become friends as well, sharing time in Florida and many parties at each other’s homes. Adele was a very special lady. I’ll always remember her impeccable dress, her fantastic cooking, and just her fun loving and generous personality. Our heartfelt condolences. - Posted by: Cathy & Bob Stewart (Friends) on: Mar 16, 2024

  • She was a awesome person. I enjoyed our conversations at St. Nicks picking up perogies or at Elmhurst. I had privilege to talk to her few days before her passing while I was on the beach in Mexico she phoned me about my order and we talking about the day we were having. - Posted by: Orest Horechko (friend) on: Mar 16, 2024
