ANTONIO (TONY) MIAZGA

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dad Tony Miazga at the age of 87 on March 8, 2024.
Dad was the youngest of three boys born and raised on the family farm in Lorette, Manitoba where the value of hard work was instilled in them by their parents. He worked on that same farm nearly his whole life.
He married our Mom and they started a family. He was a caring and devoted husband for 64 years before Mom's passing in August 2023.
Dad will always be remembered for his kindness, helpfulness and genuine interest in people's lives. He was outgoing and easily made friends. He was an avid storyteller with a whimsical sense of humour. We greatly mourn his loss and are grateful for our time with him. Though he's no longer with us in person his spirit will continue to live on in the countless memories shared and the lives he touched.
Dad was predeceased by our Mom Orese, his parents John and Albina Miazga and his brothers Jean (Irene) and Roland. Left to mourn his passing are his children Louise (K.C.), Norman (Kelly), Denis (Catherine) and Allan (Sandra), his grandchildren Lee (Mona), Jay, Lyndsey, Colin (Debbie) and Daniel, and his great-grandchildren Willow, River, Ella and Mia.
Dad may you rest in peace. Thank you for everything. You will be deeply missed by family and friends. When you see Mom in heaven give her a kiss and big hug and tell her we miss her and love her.
Thank you to the staff at Action Marguerite St. Vital third floor for their care and compassion toward Dad during his time there.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
