NORBERT (BOBBISH) BRUYERE


It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Norbert Bruyere after a brief illness on March 12, 2024.

Norbert will be dearly missed by his children, Amber (Joseph), Heidi and Delbert, grandchildren, Kyla, Ayanna, Casandra, Casey, Tyrell, Clara, Joseph Jr., Royce and Dreyson; his siblings, Karen (Chris), Richard (Nancy), Norman (Vera), Charlene (Myles) and Patricia; aunts, Terry Swampy, Margaret Courchene and Mary Courchene, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Caroline Bruyere, brother Errol (Boney) and his son Travis.

At the time of his passing Norbert worked as a contractor and truck driver, he was a hard worker. Most importantly he was a loving father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren. He had many friends who will surely miss him.

Wake will be held at the Christ Church Anglican Hall, Sagkeeng First Nation from April 2 to 5, 2024. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Sagkeeng First Nation, MB. Interment in the church cemetery.
