It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Anne, on February 13, 2024, at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, at the age of 92 years.
Anne was predeceased by her parents, her sister Mary, and her son Rick. Left to cherish Anne’s memory are her daughter Karen, sons, Danny (Pat), Michael (Rhonda), granddaughter Jaclyn (Rielly), great-granddaughters, Addie and Evie, and daughter-in-law Anita. Also mourning Anne’s passing are her brothers, Morris, Bill (Brenda), along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mom enjoyed many winter getaways with her mom, sister, and daughter. Mom spent her later years living at 64 Nassau where she made many friends. She was an active volunteer with the social committee, coffee club, and meal program.
A memorial service will be held at the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue, in Winnipeg, on Thursday, April 11. Condolences at 10:30 a.m., Mass at 11:00 a.m.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff on the fourth floor of the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for their compassionate care during our mother’s final days.

Anne was an amazing woman who never let adversity get the better of her. After separating from her husband and being on her own, she worked diligently for low wages so that she could buy a home for her children and herself which she achieved.
