Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA DREGER
It is with great sadness we announce that on May 2, 2024, at the age of 86, Linda Dreger unexpectedly passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Debbie, Marilyn (Adrian), Becky (Tim) and Gail (Joe); son-in-law Dean; granddaughter Katrina (Nate); sister Lorna; brother Gene (Kathy); brother-in-law Lawrence and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband Albert, son Ronald, daughter Doris, son-in-law Garry, sister Myrtle and parents Berthold and Ella Price.
Linda was born on October 9, 1937, and was raised on the family farm north-west of Moosehorn, MB. In 1955 she married Albert Dreger, and they started their life together on the Dreger homestead. Over the years they raised five daughters while running their cattle and grain farm. After the death of Albert, she continued to run the farm until her retirement in the late 1990’s. When she retired, she moved to Ashern where she lived on her own until her passing.
Linda loved to garden, and her flowers were her pride and joy. She was also an avid crafter, producing many sewn, knitted, and crocheted items which she sold at countless craft sales over the years. Once she retired, she was able to do some travelling with her family within Canada and the United States, which she enjoyed immensely.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, in the Moosehorn Community Hall with Cathy Clow officiating. Interment will follow in the Moosehorn Municipal Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask you to consider donating to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Suite 200, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
