After a brief illness, Jacqueline passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024.
Born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario in 1936, she spent most of her life in the Thunder Bay area. There she met her beloved husband, Darwyn. They moved to Winnipeg in 1999 to be closer to family.
She is survived by her daughter Joanne Palaniuk (George); son Robert (Helen); and grandchildren, Ryan Palaniuk, Colin Bruce and Nicole Bruce.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Darwyn in 2005; her son Kerry in 2017; and her grandson Adam Palaniuk in 2022. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, the CWL, and the church’s knitting group. Mom was also a proud “36er”.
A service will be held on Tuesday, May 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help,4588 Roblin Blvd.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of my Auntie Jackie. She could always lift you up with her hilarious sense of humour. Such a funny, funny lady.
