On April 18, 2024, Estelle peacefully passed away following a battle with Alzheimer's.
Estelle was born and raised in La Salle, Manitoba. In 1969, Estelle moved to Ottawa and worked for CJOH and retired from the federal government in 1998. After retirement Estelle obtained a Masters in Pastoral Sciences and Individual Counselling to help individuals with their religious needs and life challenges.
She was predeceased by her father René, mother Marie-Ange, her godson Norman and sister-in-law, Mona. She leaves behind four brothers, Roland, Gérald, Gilles (Lucille), Claude (Suzanne), numerous nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at St. Hyacinthe Roman Catholic Church, La Salle, MB, at 1:00 p.m. with a reception afterwards. A private family interment will follow in the La Salle Parish Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
