VENDEL KNAUS
Vendel Knaus passed away peacefully with family by his side on May 18 at Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 89 years. He was predeceased by several siblings and nephews. Vendel is survived by Kristina his wife of 65 years and lovingly remembered by his daughters Maria(Chris), Margaret Prefontaine (Guy) and his grandchildren David (Gloria), Gregory (Haley), Michelle, Alex, and Camille.
He also leaves behind his sisters Julie, Jolanka and Agnes and several nephews and nieces in Canada, Slovenia and the United States.
Vendel was born and raised in Slovenia prior to immigrating to Canada in 1958. He found his calling in the construction field and eventually became a partner in Accurate Concrete.
A private service will be held on May 28.
