  • I met Vi a very long time ago. We both worked for the Manitoba Government. Vi was a honest, true and much loved colleague. We all went through many sad and trying times in those days, so long ago. Vi was just like our Work Mother, she always had a quiet, supportive word and a much appreciated hug. I have thought of Vi many times over the year. I hope she had lots of time in her retirement to spend with family. My condolences to Vi’s family. • May you rest in peace Auntie. Love you. - Posted by: Daniel Pelletier (Nephew) on: May 25, 2024

  • My deepest sympathies to Vi's family. She was my neighbour and childhood friend as well as bridesmaid at my wedding. I have many fond memories of the great times we had as kids playing in a small building behind my father's greenhouses as both our parents were commercial market gardeners. We had it all fixed up with dishes, curtains, etc., donations from our Mom's, and played house with our dolls, raided our parents gardens to make our own little meals there, also making forts & picking berries in Kenny's bush, such great memories as kids, the good old days....Vi, you were a great friend and great person, too bad we didn't keep in touch later on in life, but both too busy raising our own families & in fact think one of her kids, probably Joanne, went to school with one of mine, Jason....RIP Vi! - Posted by: Joan Proteau (childhood friend) on: May 25, 2024
