NANCY LEE LYNCH

(nee SMITH)

January 3, 1932 – May 25, 2024

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Nancy Lynch on May 25, 2024 at the age of 92. Nancy was predeceased by her dear husband Fred to whom she was married for 51 years. She was also predeceased by brothers Paul Smith and Charles Boulton. Left to cherish her memory are her sister-in-law Alison (John), children Nelson (Carol Anne), Alison (George), Honor (Robert), grandchildren Emily, Kira (Jake), Christine (Sean), and Glyne, as well as great-grandchildren Dorota and Ronan, many nieces, nephews and countless friends. Nancy will be especially missed by her niece Pamla Boulton.

A celebration of Nancy's life is being planned for later this summer at St. Andrew's Woodhaven Anglican Church.

The family wishes to thank the staff and residents of Sturgeon Creek II who kept Mum's life active and vital right up to her last days. We also wish to thank the staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their compassionate care at the end of Nancy's life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrews Woodhaven Anglican Church.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I remember Nancy like a second mother during high school when I would come over after schoool at Fort Richmond. Nancy always greeted us with a beautiful smile, and so was welcoming and friendly. A sense of humor was always present in the Lynch home with so many family jokes and traditions. My heart is so sad for the family and I hope the many happy memories can be of some consolation. • I have many fond memories of Mrs. Lynch as I knew her then from when the family lived in Flin Flon and Fred was Rector of St. James. Nancy was always very supportive as I discerned my call to ordained ministry. May she rest in peace and may her family find comfort in the love they shared. - Posted by: James Njegovan (Friend ) on: Jun 01, 2024
