GLENDA CHAMPAGNE

(nee ASHCROFT)

Peacefully on May 30, 2024, at Vista Park Lodge, Glenda passed away at the age of 88.

She was predeceased by her parents, Leslie and Gertrude Ashcroft, husband Maurice in 1987 and brother Grant in 2014. Glenda is lovingly remembered by her children, Warren (Marie), Wendy (Bruce), Guy (Terry), Joy, Michael (Susan); grandchildren, Blake (Sam), Kirk (Jean), Branden, Carlie (Tyler), Brandy (David), Royce, Stephanie (Ivan), Eric, Jordan, Justin and great-grandchildren, Elliona, Navy, Siobhan, and Ezra.

Glenda was hard working, caring and committed to her family. She had many interests including playing cards, bowling, gardening, bingo, crosswords, and the casino. Most of all, she loved to read! Glenda was well liked by friends, family, co-workers and neighbours. She was always quick to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed her many years working at Drake Pharmacy in Windsor Park. Mom was a pillar of strength, raising her five children, and caring for her ailing husband, and endured a difficult couple months due to kidney failure.

The family would like to thank the staff at Vista Park Lodge, where mom was living for the past five years and for taking great care of her.

At her request, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.

If you so wish, donations in Glenda's memory can be made to the Kidney Foundation.
