BONNIE SUSAN NOVAK
It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Bonnie Novak, daughter of Steve and the late Lavinia Novak, brothers Wayne and Gerry Novak, Auntie, Cousin and Friend on May 31, 2024.
Bonnie was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 13, 1959 and spent her childhood in Winnipeg, The Pas and Flin Flon as well as returning to Winnipeg in between. But it was Flin Flon that she always called home.
She will be sadly missed by her family, those she called family and her many friends throughout the world.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 13, 2024 at St. Basil’s Church, 202 Harcourt Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Cancer Cancer Manitoba.

Esther and I offer Bonnie's family our deepest condolences on the passing of your daughter, sister, auntie, and cousin. Bonnie lived two doors over from us in River Heights. She was a kind-hearted person. Even when her health was already in decline she would not hesitate to clear snow from her next door neighbour's sidewalk. My deepest condolences to Steve, Bonnie's brothers and all of the extended Novak family members saddened by her loss. I met Bonnie many years ago, sitting next to her at the McPhillips casino. We both LOVED playing Keno and easily became friends. Through our talks, I learned her family grew up knowing my current boss who also lived in Flin Flon. They say it is a small world- and this fact proved it! I enjoyed our chats and time together over the years. She was a vibrant lady, determined, head-strong and dedicated to her family. Dearest Uncle Steve, Wayne and Gerald and family…We are so saddened by your loss and feel your heartache.
