Peacefully, on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Leona Boode passed away.
She will be lovingly remembered by her partner Peter Grey, her son Sean (Julene), daughter Amber, grand-children, James and Lila, brothers, Glen (Linda), Dave (Diane) and their families.
Leona loved going to her happy place: Lobstick Bay, Ontario. She was proud of being a grandmother. Leona was devoted to her career with Scholastic Publishing.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Leona to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
