Worked with Bill over the years at CN. You couldn’t find a nicer person. Once retired I would run into him in Safeway in Kenora just a prince of a guy. One of the best I knew working at CN a very generous man and one who was always interested in what you had to say. Very sad to hear of his passing. - Posted by: Rob Lang (Co-worker) on: Jun 12, 2024

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was one of a kind.... well, except book ends with Ken. I have wonderful memories of traveling to California with him and Jan in a camper, home-made happy hours in Cuba, visits to Black Sturgeon and just lots of laughter. My Sincere Condolences. The Book Ends are no more. - Posted by: Kelly Seward (friend) on: Jun 08, 2024

Sad to hear and condolences to his family. Bill and I go back to Holy Cross School where all of our siblings attended back in the day. Of course being from Norwood, we had to play football for the Colts and Broncs in the day and of course you had to hang at the Red Top. Bill was easy to like and always made those he encountered feel comfortable in his presence. He will be missed by many. - Posted by: Don Tomac (Friend) on: Jun 08, 2024
