On Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the Boyne Lodge in Carman, MB, Dorothy McKee (widow of Donald McKee) passed away at the age of 96.
Dorothy leaves to mourn, her two daughters, Cheryl Bigus and Heather and Bill McEachern, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law Ruth Fric of London, ON, sister-in-law Alice Bates of Carman and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Sadie Bates (nee Sargent); loving husband Don McKee in 2008 and only son Kevin in 1975, daughter Lynn in 2012, son-in-law Barry Bigus 2018, sister Helen Lechner in 2014, brother Ralph Bates in 2018, and brothers-in-law, John Lechner in 2007 and Lawrence Fric in 2019.
We would like to express sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at Boyne Lodge for your care and kindness shown to Dorothy over the past few years.
Funeral service will be held from Carman United Church in Carman, on Monday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
