PATRICIA AMY SPADO

November 6, 1938 - July 2, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Pat's passing. She passed peacefully at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg on July 2, 2024, at the age of 85.

Pat was predeceased by her Mom and Dad, Queenie and Albert Chambers and brother Ted Chambers. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 64 years, Louis, her children, Cindy (Bob), Gord (Donna), grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica), Amanda (Jeff), Branden, Laura and great-grandchildren, Henry, Theo, and Francesca.

Pat was a fighter, beating cancer twice and fought a brave, long battle with COPD. Family meant the world to Pat and while she had many jobs through her life, raising her family was the one she was most proud of. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and was so happy to be a great-grandma. In her younger years she enjoyed a round of golf at the Winnipeg Canoe Club. Later in life she enjoyed bingo and the comradery of the people she played with.

Once retired, Pat and Lou did some cruising enjoying Italy, Greece and the Panama Canal. For their 50th Anniversary they cruised the Caribbean with their daughter and her family.

Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Christ the King Church, Father Chrys Agu to officiate. Eulogy at 11:15 a.m. with service at 11:30 a.m.

Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba or the Manitoba Lung Association, in Pat’s name.
