ALEXANDER (ALEX) JAMES OFFICER

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alexander James Officer, who left us on August 4, 2024, at the age of 86 to embark on his everlasting hunt in heaven. Born on June 20, 1938, Alexander was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy, with whom he shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Alexander is also survived by his son, Darren (Megan), daughter Nicole (Trevor), brother John (Leslie), and his cherished grandchildren: Dakota, Zach, Lily, and Patrick, as well as nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Monday, August 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a private interment.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society in Alexander's memory.
