It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Coralie Standing on Saturday August 3, 2024.
Coralie will be remembered by her two daughters, Barb (Craig Frame) of Fredericton, NB, Kathy (Keith Strachan) of Winnipeg; four grandchildren, Christopher Frame (Amanda) and their children, Aiden, Ciaran and Isaac of Fredericton, NB, Geoffrey Frame of Calgary, AB, Hannah (Kyle Lussier) and their children, Ava, Jace and Milo of Lac du Bonnet, and Alex Strachan (Reagan Takeuchi) of Winnipeg; one brother, Gary Cutler of Winnipeg, and a host of wonderful relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband and best friend, John, and her parents, Muriel and Leigh Cutler.
Music played a very important role in Coralie's life from a very early age as a soloist and a member of many choirs over the years. She was also an outstanding cook and loved nothing more than hosting family, friends or large choir groups in our home. She will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in St. Andrew's River Heights United Church on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Karen Lumley officiating.

My brother (Murray Mason), & I were talking about Auntie Coralie (my godmother) over the Easter weekend & wondered how she was doing. Murray googled her & found her online obituary. We were sad to see that she died on August 3/24. We have such fond memories of visiting with her at her new place in 2019. Just like old times. My son (Chris), Mom (Rosemary Mason) & I had so much fun with Auntie Coralie & Uncle John playing games in Mom's sunroom in Kelowna. My heartfelt sympathy to all of her family & friends. Take care, Marg McKeen. - Posted by: Margaret McKeen (God daughter) on: Apr 26, 2025

When John was director of the Polish SOKOL Choir and Dance Ensemble, we travelled to Poland (1976 - 2 busloads of us) and Coralee came along. She fit right in with absolutely everyone in the group. What a wonderful time was had by all. She will be fondly remembered and is now with her best friend! May God comfort you all and surround you with peace. I was named after Coralie and when I was 12 years old I was a bridesmaid at her wedding to John. I also sang in Chalmers United Church Choir and John was our organist. John and Coralie were great friends of my parents, Bill and Dorothy (deceased) Atkinson. I am saddened to learn of her passing and my thoughts and prayers are with her daughters and their families. RIP Coralie - Posted by: Coralie (Atkinson) Bornais (namesake) on: Aug 10, 2024
