Georgette M. Durand passed away peacefully at Actionmarguerite Saint Boniface on August 9, 2024.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Albertine (Faucher) Durand and her brothers, Alphonse (Jeannette), Armand (Velma, Elida) and Charles. She leaves to mourn her sister Germaine, sister-in-law Suzanne, godchild Raynald and several nephews and nieces. Cremation has taken place and a funeral was held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank all the staff on 4DE for the care, compassion and support given to Georgette and her family during her stay.
A small private family gathering has been held and internment has taken place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens Columbarium, 455, boul. Lagimodière.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Georgette’s name to Actionmarguerite Saint Boniface or a charity of your choice.

I never got a chance to see my Aunt Georgette Durand. But we always sent Christmas cards to each other every year. I heard that she was a wonderful lady. You always be in my heart ❤️.
