Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Dear Randy and family We were saddened to learn of Diane's passing today. Diane will always be remembered of her warm smile and her outreach to us because our granddaughter Alexa had been a child born with seizures and she consoled us through tough times when we lost our granddaughter Alexa because she knew of the pain she felt having gone through with that of her son Kevin. She shared her heart with us and that was a gift we will always remember and treasure her for. May you be free of pain physically and mentally in God's care now. Thanky you Diane for the gift of what you shared with us... - Posted by: Ray & Trish Rosolowich (Friends through Zion Lutheran Church) on: Sep 07, 2024

  • My sincere condolences to Diane’s family. I was saddened to hear that Diane had passed away. We were school friends back in the 60’s. She would come over, along with her younger sister Gail, to my place when I lived on Magnus Ave. Or I would drop in to visit with her. She was a kind person along with her family. I’m sorry we lost contact but thankful that she married and had children and grandchildren. I know she will be terribly missed. • What lovely comments already submitted. Jill and I add our deepest condolences to Randy and family. Diane and Randy stand out for us as having had the most loving and supportive relationship imaginable. Each was completely committed to giving their "all" at all times, in ways that I believe must have humbled those of us who knew them well. Diane was an exemplary mother, wife, friend and pet lover and was so deserving of the love and care she received from Randy as her illnesses progressed. I know she will be missed by us all. We wish that Randy and family and friends find warmth and solace in these many memories of Diane as the cold winter approaches, as it will for us all. • Dear Randy, Carole and I are sending our deepest sympathies and the assurances of our prayers to you, Jennifer, Brittany and their families. Words are never enough Rand, so I won't even try but I will ask you and anyone else reading this to not to focus on Diane's date of birth or the date of death but on the small dash separating the two dates. That small dash encapsulates all of her life, everyone she encountered, all her laughs and tears and her great love for you, Kevin, Jennifer and Brittany. May God bless you and give you all strength at this time. Love, Doug and Carole - Posted by: Douglas Penn (Friend) on: Aug 26, 2024

  • Bob & I strongly remember Diane’s enthusiastic and ongoing support of the residents of St. Amant Centre. Diane and her husband Randy were loving, caring and deeply committed parents to their son Kevin. Diane’s book, “A Mother's Story”, was a compassionate tribute to families experiencing the realities of loving a special needs child. Diane’s friendly, understanding personality endured her to many. She will be fondly remembered. - Posted by: Bob & Sherry Harris (Friends) on: Aug 25, 2024
