Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Maria Clotilde da Silva, passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital on August 9, 2024, at the age of 92.
She is survived by her children, Laurindo (Maria Alice), Alvina, and Hermano (Angie) as well as her six grandchildren, Robert (Chantal), Jessica (Arnold), Ryan (Yolanda), Shane (Andrea), Megan (Rory), and Tristan and four great-grandchildren, Alice, Emma, Owen, and new baby Charlotte.
She is also survived by her brother Deodato (Bernadette), brother-in-law Eugenio (Fatima) and sisters-in-law, Helena and Encarnaçao.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Manuel, her brother Joao, brothers-in-law, Hermano and Joao and sister-in-law Eduarda as well as her son-in-law Rob.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charitable organization of your choice.
Funeral Service 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Church, 181 Austin Street N. with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue.

I would like to offer my condolences to all the family. Mrs. DaSilva was a great lady and always spoke loingly about her family. Mrs DaSilva was my next door neighbour in Harbour View South. She was a very friendly lady. I remember telling her about taking quilting classes and she was very interested so I I asked her to join. She really enjoyed those classes and loved talking to all the classmates. She also loved to crochet. I really missed her when she moved away. Thank you for being so nice to me.
