With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our dear sister, Elizabeth Thelma Frederickson who was born on December 13, 1946.
She will be sadly missed and remembered by her sisters, Marion (Bill), Judy and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, William, mother, Mary and brother, Barry.
Elizabeth dedicated her nursing career to the Winnipeg Children's Hospital. In her free time, she was a devoted singer, singing in several church choirs throughout the city. She was also an avid pet owner and cherished her dog, Chico.
A private family celebration of Liz’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Children's Hospital.

Liz was a very good friend to me. We worked in the OR at HSC as operating room technicians, then we studied nursing together, and graduated together. I was getting married at the time and Liz was my maid of honour. Her passing really hit me hard, I did communicate with her through the years, then we lost touch. I just want her family to know how special she was to me. We became friends with Liz as we were neighbours in the complex where we both lived. We didn’t see her often but whenever we saw her she would stop and talk for a while. We helped her with groceries occasionally and shared stories and current events when we talked.
