ARMELLE LAGASSE

It is with heavy hearts we are announcing the passing of Armelle (Arms) Lagassé (nee Lauzé) on September 7, 2024, at the age of 89.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Jean (Johnny) Lagassé and daughter-in-law Rhonda Lagassé.

She leaves to mourn her five children: Jean-Marc (Anne), Roger (Joanne), Lynda (Dave), Rheal (Diane) and Cam (Francine); 11 grandchildren: Nicole (Troy), Sherie (Shaun), Joel, Dustin (Aleah), Shayne (Penney), Courtney (Bobby), Clayton, Brittany (Matthieu), Cole, Izzy and Redeemed, as well 17 great-grandchildren: Ethan, Noah, Brayden, Alyssa, Barrett, Summer, Chase, Signey, Thurston, Benson, Holly, Crosby, Keane, Elodie, Quinn, Clarke and Lincoln.

Armelle also leaves to mourn her sister Marie, and her brother Bob (Clara) along with many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, friends as well as lifelong friend Jeannette Legault.

She was our Mother, Mémère and Mems. Mom was the heart of our home and family. She lived life to the fullest with family and friends being top priority in her life, always up for anything, lunch, a bus trip to the casino or just visiting and playing cards. We will miss her dearly.

Respecting Armelle’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

The family wishes to thank Sr. Rioux, and all the staff at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface.
