Mike passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital on September 11, 2024. He will be sadly missed by all who experienced his sharp mind and conversation.
Mike was born in Lestock, Saskatchewan and moved to Winnipeg as a young man for work and to be near his sister, Elizabeth. He lived with his sister's family for several years and established a special bond with his nephew, Gord, and nieces, Lucy and Janet. He stayed single and worked many years in bus manufacturing, retiring from New Flyer Industries in 2006.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, Maynard and Agnes, five brothers, George, Bill, Tony, John and Peter and sister Elizabeth.
Respecting our Uncle Mike's wishes, there will be no formal service and a private cremation has taken place.
