It is with sorrow we share of her passing on September 16, 2024.
Elaine Hardinge (née Wellby) was born in British India in 1933. She met the love of her life, Roderic, en route back to England. Her finest accomplishments were her family and network of friends. Elaine was truly a good soul and extraordinary person.
Elaine was predeceased by her beloved husband, siblings, and sisters-in-law. She is survived by her loving daughters, Gail, Caron and Michelle, cherished grandchildren, great-grandsons, sister-in-law, niece and nephews.
As per Elaine’s wishes, no memorial service will be held. Though, we will celebrate and honour her forever with our deepest love and the happiest of memories.

I’m so sorry for your loss, Gail, Caron, Michelle and families. I loved your mom and so did my mom, from the time we were babies! I have a lot of memories growing up as neighbours in EK. Our families spent so much time together with the rest of the neighbourhood families. There was always an open door with coffee going and us kids were always looked after by all of the parents! My warm condolences to Gail, Caron, Michelle and families. Had the opportunity to work with your Mom in 70’s, then again in 80’s and filled her position when she retired. I have fond memories of Elaine. She was a young at heart fun person with great stories, a twinkle in her eyes and loved you girls dearly. Rest in Paradise Elaine.
