JENNIFER SHANTAL GUMANY
In Loving Memory
It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, partner, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Jennifer Gumany, on September 18, 2024, at the age of 55, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
A strong-willed, independent and kind soul, Jennifer lived for her children. Whether it was helping them with homework, teaching them to ride their bikes or playing games, she enjoyed these moments the best. In her free time, she enjoyed writing, crocheting, hockey and most of all singing. She had a voice that was worthy of stardom. Later on in life she also took a liking to painting.
In her professional life she worked as an aircraft overhaul technician with Standard Aero for 20 years. She worked very hard to ace all of her exams and was proud to show off a perfect report card.
She will be sadly missed by her son Shane (Ashley), daughter Sheena (Joshua), granddaughter Madison and grandson Oliver, as well as her partner Andrew.
Jennifer was predeceased by her parents, Barbara and George Gumany, and brothers, Glenn and Scott. She is survived by her siblings, Donna and Sandra.
A memorial will be held at a future date.
Donations can be made to the CancerCare Manitoba.

My deepest sympathies and condolences regarding the passing of Jennifer. I got to know Jennifer & her sister, Sandra, a long time ago through talking & dancing with them at some of Transcona's go to night spots at the time, such as the Golden Oak & the Spike. Always lots of fun, dancing & conversation! As life goes, we all go in different directions and eventually we lost touch of one another. It's great to know that Jennifer had a very nice life, wearing many hats: Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Colleague & Friend! I'm so sorry that she left us way too soon! Jennifer will be missed, but, never forgotten! - Posted by: Monte Rowe (Friend (From long ago)) on: Oct 10, 2024
