LINDA BARTEL
Linda Bartel passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024, at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 73.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Peter, along with sons, Ray (Lorie), Dean (Andrea) and three cherished grandkids, Hayley, Colton, and Emma. She also leaves her only sister Roberta (Frank) as well as many other extended family relatives.
For over 40 years she worked as a taxation specialist with H&R Block and most recently Northwest company.
For many years she was involved in the sport of 5-pin bowling, being part of the executive board of 5-pin Winnipeg and youth bowling programs. During her career making long lasting friendships and participating in local and national tournaments.
Thank you to all the nurses and doctors that dedicated their time in her final days.
A cremation has taken place and we will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Our condolences to Linda’s family. Linda looked after our tax issues but was so much more than just our accountant. She was there to always talk us down from whatever ledge we were ready to jump off! She was a sympathetic ear and the voice of reason. She never made you feel like you were being a bother. Rest In Peace Linda.
