It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Walter (Bud) Laventure of Winnipeg, MB, on October 9, 2024.
Cremation and a private family gathering will take place.

Bud, you were a huge part of my life right from age 3 when I was junior flower girl when you married my big sister Marlene. I loved being part of the weekend trips to Grand Forks, whether it was to the races or to the casino and many times both, or longer trips in the motor home when we’d all take off with Mom to Vegas or Arizona. I have many great memories and you will always have a very special place in my heart. Bigs hugs and kisses to you, Marlene and Mom and will see you all again one day. Love you always. Xoxo. Richard, Gary and Tannis and family I was sad to hear of my Uncle Buddy's passing... We certainly had lots of laughs and embrace great memories going to the many car races over the years with the family.. especially when you guys raced at the speedway.... and the fun trips to Knoxville for the sprint car racing....
