JAYE CORRINE JACKSON

March 28, 1978 - October 13, 2024

It is with immeasurable sadness the family of Jaye Corrine Jackson, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, announces her passing in the family home on October 13, 2024. Jaye died peacefully in her sleep knowing she was dearly cherished and loved by family and friends.

Her presence and love will forever be missed by her parents, Jane and Dennis Jackson; sister, Jerilyn Jackson (Chris Duncum); nephew, William, and niece, Kaylee. She will be sadly missed and forever loved by maternal aunts and uncles: Pete Hildebrand (Eileen); Marian Wahl (Ray); Helen Major (Paul); Katherine Hildebrand (Victor); Ray Hildebrand and Bob Hildebrand. Paternal aunts and uncles mourning their special niece are Freida Innes; Eleanor Ward; Joyce Woodman (Gerry) and adopted aunt and uncle, Judy and Gordon (deceased) Hall. Jaye was predeceased by other cherished family: Aunt Loreen Jackson, Grandma Bea Jackson, Grandma Helen and Grandpa John Hildebrand and uncles Dave Innes, Matt Ward, and Gordon Hall. Jaye will be lovingly remembered by her beloved cousins and their families, her former partner Cory, treasured lifelong friends, special friends she met along her life and cancer journey and dear colleagues from West End Radiators.

A Celebration of Life will occur. You may contact her sister, Jerilyn, at jerilyn@shaw.ca for notification of the date and time. Jaye was a "valiant warrior " in support of Cancercare Manitoba and donations in her memory in lieu of flowers can be sent to cancercarefdn.mb.ca or by calling 204-787-4143.

Jaye, you will be in our hearts forever. Our hearts are broken and we can barely let you leave. Your presence made the world a better place by teaching us kindness, respect and most of all, love. You gave us strength and courage in your cancer journey as you relentlessly fought the battle and taught us how to cope by staying hopeful and positive when darkness was present. Your star always shone brightly and for all who read this, the next time you see a bright star in the sky, make a wish for Jaye.

We will miss you always.
