With heartfelt sadness, we announce that Antonio Buccini peacefully passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on October 28, 2024, surrounded by family, at the age of 89.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Pierina, children, Rosanna (Tim) and Giuseppe (Anna), along with grandchildren, Catherine, Matthew, Sara and Maya. He also leaves behind brother Giovanni, sister Maria and sister-in-law Emilia (late Carmine).
Antonio is predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe and Maria Requilda Buccini, and brother Carmine.
Mass of Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., Winnipeg, MB, with condolences at 10:00 a.m., Father Michael Savarimuthu presiding. Entombment will follow at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery - Holy Angel Mausoleum. Those wishing to join the service by livestream may do so by visiting: www.greenacresfuneralhome.com

Tony was a well liked and respected man, always with a kind word and helpful to all. First met Tony when he worked for my Dad at Accurate Glass where he worked hard and was appreciated by the Johnstone Family. He was proud of his wife and Family as we were proud of him and his loyalty in always doing a good job. Our Sincere Condolences to Pierina and Family and Friends.
