RONALD MATT SLEZAK

June 30, 1946 - October 27, 2024


It’s with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron Slezak on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

Ron will be greatly missed by his loving partner, friend and caregiver, Tony, and their handsome dog, Bentley.

Ron is survived by brothers, Henry (Shirley), John (Ruth), as well as many nieces and nephews, and his extended family, Dale (Susie), Daniel (Sarah), "Ma" Eydie Fraser and numerous others.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anne and Walter Slezak, his loving sister, Lil Balak, brother-in-law, John Balak, brother, Murray Slezak, and nephew, Kelly Balak.

A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held November 17, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at La Cabane a Sucre (Sugar Shack) in St. Pierre-Jolys, MB.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, the Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal or a charity of your choice.

With tearful eyes we watched you

And saw you pass away

And although we loved you dearly

We could not make you stay
