Peacefully, Therese (Terri) went to be with God and her family on the morning of October 29, 2024.
Her two children survive Therese: John Zulak of Burnaby, BC, Quincy Zulak of North Vancouver, BC, and her four grandchildren, Alex, Tasha, Makayla and Linden.
She is also survived by her siblings, Lucille (Denis), Henri (Irene), Armand (Helen), Maurice (Dolores), Aline (Gilbert) and many nieces and nephews.
Therese was predeceased by her siblings, Bertrand, Paul, and Jacqueline and her parents, Albert and Georgianna Pelland.
Therese (or Terri as she was commonly known) was a hairdresser by trade and worked various other jobs. She was a voracious reader and published author, musician and singer, card player, walker, and nature lover. She had a fondness and connection with aboriginal culture and spiritual practice. She had a delightful and sharp sense of humour and was there for you when you needed help or a shoulder to lean on. Above all, she was a loyal and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend. She will be greatly missed and remembered by family and friends.
We thank Ironwood Gardens staff and residents for their loving friendship and care for Therese.
Also, thank you to Dr. Bruneau and the nursing staff at Pinawa Hospital.
An interment, family only, will be held in Pine Falls cemetery in late spring 2025.
