It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Peter Gravett on October 29, 2024, at the age of 97.
Peter was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Joan, and his son, Keith. He is survived by his son Paul (Mark), daughter Julene, granddaughter Alishia (Kathleen), and great-granddaughter Remi. Peter also leaves behind his brother Derek and extended family in the UK.
Born in London, England, Peter immigrated in 1954 to Canada where he and Joan set up home in a country they dearly loved.
The consummate handyman, carpenter, and photographer, he shared a passion for gardening with "head gardener" Joan.
As per his wishes, cremation has already taken place. The family thanks Deer Lodge Centre's doctors, nurses, and care aides. Donations can be made to the care centre in lieu of flowers.

To the family of Peter Gravett: I have fond memories of being the neighbours of Peter and Joan. I could always get advice on any gardening issues I had as they always had the most beautiful garden in the neighborhood. They were a pleasant, quiet, hardworking couple whose ongoing projects always amazed me and got completed! May Peter rest in peace and Paul and Julie….may your memories bring you comfort.
