DAVID JAMES FAWCETT

It’s with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Dave Fawcett on November 13, 2024.

Dave will be deeply missed by his wife of 44 years, Wendy; his daughters, Cindy (Jen) and Jenna; grandkids, Cali and Maia; and countless family and friends.

Dave’s life revolved around his family, whom he fiercely loved and protected. He was most content puttering around at the cabin that he built from the ground up and making memories with the ones he loved most.

He started his career in the automotive trade at the early age of 17, and eventually became a proud owner of Allan’s Alignment Ltd. with Wendy for over 30 years. Dave’s greatest legacy was to give back to the trade by teaching through ICAR and ATA, as well as mentoring the upcoming generations at his own shop.

We are forever grateful to the incredible staff at Grace Hospice, who lovingly cared for Dave and gave him the dignity he deserved.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Hospice or CancerCare Manitoba.

Come casual, with your favourite ball cap to celebrate the life of Dave, Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., Glenwood Community Centre, 27 Overton Street.

  • God looked down as he needed some-one to straighten things out. He wanted some-one to bring smiles and happiness so he choose the best, he choose Dave. We, the Sobering family, worked with, for, and together on many projects . His dedication and help at the ATA, his standard of workmanship at Allen's, all these things accomplished with that silly grin. We called him our friend. Wendy our condolences to you and your family.
